Camelina - almost forgotten plant

It is almost forgotten.

Camelina sativa, a crop that provides top-quality cooking oil to the people and supports biodiversity in the fields. In mixed cultures grown together with other crops this cruciferous plant provides food for insects during the flowering and seed oil for food preparations and cosmetics.

The Bavarian Nature Conservation Fund

supports the project of the association "Artenreiches Land – Lebenswerte Stadt e.V.".

We wish this project every success.
